Effective Date: July 11, 2026 · Last Updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FaceOff collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information.
By using FaceOff — including as a guest, creating an account, joining a call, watching or broadcasting a stream, sending messages, posting content, buying anything, or using any FaceOff feature — you agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use FaceOff.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to FaceOff, including our app, website, voice features, live streams and recordings, messaging features, social feeds, profiles, group chats, clan chats, and any related services.
Connected login accounts (such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In).
Account creation date.
Account status.
Guest accounts. You can use some FaceOff features without signing up. A guest session is a limited account tied to your device, and information collected during it (such as streams you broadcast) is handled under this Policy. If you sign up later, your guest activity may be merged into your account.
Game and Player Information
We may collect:
Player tags.
Supercell IDs or other game identifiers.
Game usernames.
Clan information.
Game profile information.
Connected game accounts.
Public game stats.
Game activity that you connect or share with FaceOff.
FaceOff does not control third-party game accounts or game companies.

We may collect and store content you create, upload, send, say, post, or share on FaceOff, including:
Posts.
Comments.
Direct messages.
Group messages.
Clan chat messages.
Profile content.
Usernames.
Images.
Videos.
Clips.
Links.
Reactions.
Reports.
Appeals.
Moderation messages.
Other user-generated content.
Voice, Calls, and Audio Information
FaceOff may collect and process voice and call information, including:
Voice audio needed to provide live calls.
Call metadata, such as caller, receiver, time, date, duration, call status, and connection quality.
Audio signals needed for quality, safety, moderation, profanity filtering, abuse detection, and family-friendly voice.
Reports related to calls.
Evidence related to reported calls, if available.
Technical data needed to operate voice features.
FaceOff may process voice calls in real time to provide calls, improve quality, filter profanity, detect abuse, operate safety features, and enforce our rules.
FaceOff does not record private voice calls by default unless we clearly disclose it, get any required consent, or retain information for safety, legal, moderation, reporting, abuse prevention, or security reasons.
Voice on live streams IS recorded. If you broadcast a live stream with your microphone on, your microphone audio — including your side of any call happening during the stream — is part of the stream and is recorded and saved with it. See the next section.
Live Streams, Recordings, and Clips
When you broadcast a live stream, we collect, process, and store:
The stream content you share: your screen or game video, game audio, and your microphone audio if your mic is on.
Saved recordings, replays, and clips of your streams, which are stored on our servers so you can review and share them from your account.
Stream metadata, such as start and end times, viewers, quality metrics, and connection information.
Automated analysis of the stream's video and audio to detect in-game events (for example, a match starting or ending, or a victory or defeat screen) so we can power features like match calls, replays, and highlights. Individual video frames from streams may be kept to test and improve this detection.
Pairing explanations shown to a broadcaster may include that broadcaster's own captured versus-screen frame and confidence scores. FaceOff does not show that broadcaster the other player's captured frame, crops, recognized text, device identifiers, or raw diagnostic logs; only numeric pairing scores from the other side may be shown.
Reports and safety or moderation signals related to streams.
FaceOff may restrict, review, process, store, or remove stream or recording content for safety, moderation, legal, technical, or enforcement reasons.
Device, Usage, and Technical Information
We may collect:
IP address.
Device type.
Device identifiers.
Operating system.
App version.
Browser type.
Language.
Time zone.
Approximate location from IP address.
Crash reports.
In-app diagnostic logs that the app sends to our servers to help us find and fix bugs (for example, records of call setup steps or errors).
If both call participants enable live translation, short segments of the remote participant's call audio may be sent ephemerally to our configured speech and translation provider. FaceOff uses the result only to display translated text to the listener; it does not save those audio segments or transcripts with the call or replay.
Performance logs and voice/stream quality data.
Network information.
Pages and features used.
Time spent in the app.
Login history.
Security logs.
Fraud and abuse signals.
Payment and Purchase Information

Protection of users, FaceOff, or the public.
Examples:
Account data may be kept while your account exists.

Stream recordings, replays, and clips may be kept until you delete them or your account is deleted.
Call and stream metadata may be kept for safety, quality, analytics, and enforcement.
Ordinary verbose client diagnostic logs are normally kept for about 14 days. Crash and application-not-responding reports are normally kept for 30–90 days. Logs tied to an important security, safety, reliability, or legal incident may be explicitly preserved longer.
Live-translation audio segments and generated transcripts are not retained by FaceOff after the request completes. The selected provider may process them under its data-processing terms, which FaceOff will disclose before enabling the feature in production.
End-user access to a private pairing-diagnostic frame expires after 14 days. Raw debug frames and detector artifacts are normally pruned after 14 days; match-candidate database records are normally pruned after 30 days. Incident evidence may be preserved longer for moderation, appeals, safety, security, or legal reasons.
Reported content may be kept longer for moderation, appeals, safety, and legal reasons.

Payment records may be kept as required for tax, accounting, fraud, refund, and legal reasons.
