These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and FaceOff. By using FaceOff — including as a guest, creating an account, joining a call, watching or broadcasting a stream, posting content, sending messages, buying anything, or using any FaceOff feature — you agree to these Terms.
If you do NOT agree, do NOT use FaceOff.
These Terms also include our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other rules we publish.
FaceOff is a gaming social and voice app.
FaceOff lets users:
FaceOff may also offer additional features later, such as badges, quests, virtual items, or Premium and other paid features.
FaceOff may change, add, remove, limit, or test features at any time.
FaceOff is independent.
FaceOff is NOT owned by, affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Supercell, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, Riot Games, Valorant, League of Legends, Epic Games, Fortnite, Blizzard, Overwatch, Valve, Counter-Strike, Discord, Apple, Google, or any other game company or platform unless we clearly say so in writing.
All game names, logos, characters, trademarks, and related materials belong to their owners.
FaceOff does NOT control third-party games, accounts, matchmaking, APIs, rankings, clans, bans, servers, or publisher decisions.
You must be at least 13 years old to use FaceOff.
If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may only use FaceOff with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You may NOT lie about your age. We may ask for your date of birth when you create an account.
FaceOff may limit or block features based on age, region, safety concerns, account status, or legal requirements.
FaceOff does NOT knowingly allow users under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we may delete or restrict the account.
You are responsible for your FaceOff account.
You agree to keep your login information safe and to give accurate account information.
You may NOT:
Guest access. FaceOff may let you use some features without signing up. Guest sessions are limited accounts and are covered by these Terms the same as regular accounts. If you later sign up, your guest activity may be merged into your new account.
We may suspend, limit, or delete accounts at our discretion if we believe there is a rule violation, legal risk, safety risk, fraud risk, or abuse risk.
FaceOff may let you connect or display game accounts, player tags, Supercell IDs, usernames, clan information, or other identifiers.
You may only connect accounts or identifiers that you own or have permission to use.
Connecting a game account to FaceOff does NOT mean FaceOff owns, controls, verifies, or guarantees that account.
FaceOff is NOT responsible if a game company changes its API, removes access, bans your game account, changes your data, blocks FaceOff, or makes any decision that affects your game account.
FaceOff offers voice calls between users, including calls with match opponents, friends, groups, and clans.
Voice calls are optional. You can mute, block, report, decline, or leave a call.
FaceOff is made for competitive gaming. Swearing, joking, hype, rivalry, emotional reactions, and normal trash talk are allowed.
FaceOff does NOT ban users just for normal gamer trash talk.
But you may NOT use voice calls to:
You may NOT record, stream, post, publish, or share private voice calls without permission from all people in the call, unless the law clearly allows it.
FaceOff may process voice audio to provide calls, improve quality, filter profanity, detect abuse, moderate reports, operate family-friendly voice, protect users, or improve FaceOff.
Voice on live streams. If you broadcast a live stream with your microphone on, your voice — including your side of any call happening during the stream — becomes part of that stream and its saved recording. See Section 9.
The Privacy Policy explains more about data.
FaceOff may offer family-friendly voice, profanity filters, safety filters, or other moderation tools.
These tools may use automated systems, third-party services, or human review.
These tools are NOT perfect. They may miss things. They may also block things by mistake.
FaceOff does NOT promise that all bad, offensive, unsafe, or unwanted content will be blocked.
FaceOff does not currently offer face-to-face video calls, but may offer them in the future. (Live streams of gameplay are available now — see Section 9.)
If offered, video calls will be optional and may be limited by age, region, safety settings, account status, or product availability.
You may NOT use video features to show:
You may NOT record, screenshot, stream, post, publish, or share another user's video without permission from all people in the call, unless the law clearly allows it.
FaceOff may disable video features at any time.
FaceOff offers live streams, saved stream recordings, replays, clips, and screen sharing of gameplay, and may offer camera sharing or similar features later.
Streams are recorded. When you broadcast, FaceOff records your stream — including the shared screen or game video, game audio, and your microphone audio if your mic is on — and saves recordings, replays, and clips to your account so you can review and share them. Streams are visible to other users while live.
If you use stream, clip, replay, camera, or screen-sharing features, you agree that FaceOff may collect, process, store, review, moderate, analyze, display, share, remove, and use that content and related data to operate FaceOff.
FaceOff may use stream, clip, replay, camera, screen-sharing, and related technical data to:
FaceOff may keep streams, clips, replays, reports, metadata, and related data for as long as reasonably needed to operate FaceOff, improve the service, comply with law, enforce our rules, resolve disputes, protect users, prevent abuse, and maintain safety.
You may not stream, record, save, post, or share another user's private voice, video, messages, screen, or personal information unless all required users consent or the law clearly allows it.
FaceOff may remove, limit, disable, or delete any stream, clip, replay, or recording at any time if we believe it violates our rules, creates legal risk, creates safety risk, or harms FaceOff or its users.
FaceOff lets users send DMs, create group chats, create clan chats, join voice rooms, post content, comment, react, and use social feeds.
Group owners, clan leaders, admins, and moderators may have special permissions.
FaceOff may remove, limit, rename, restrict, or delete any message, post, group, clan chat, account, username, role, or community if we believe it violates these Terms, our rules, the law, user safety, app store rules, or third-party rights.
Group admins are responsible for their groups, but FaceOff can still take action even if a group admin does NOT.
User Content means anything users create, upload, send, display, say, post, or share on FaceOff.
This includes:
You own your content, but you give FaceOff permission to use it to run the app.
By using FaceOff, you give FaceOff a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, distribute, transmit, modify, moderate, remove, promote, analyze, and use your content to operate, improve, protect, and market FaceOff.
You are responsible for your content.
You may NOT upload, post, send, display, or share content that:
FaceOff is meant to be fun, competitive, and relaxed.
Trash talk is allowed. Swearing is allowed. Roasting gameplay is allowed. Jokes, rivalry, hype, and emotional reactions are allowed.
The rule is simple:
Talk your trash, but do NOT cross the line.
You cross the line when behavior becomes serious, targeted, repeated, unsafe, illegal, hateful, exploitative, or harmful.
FaceOff decides, at its discretion, when something crosses the line.
You may NOT use FaceOff to:
We may update the Community Guidelines at any time.
FaceOff may moderate content, accounts, calls, streams, groups, messages, usernames, badges, rewards, and activity.
FaceOff may use automated systems, human review, user reports, third-party services, or any combination of these.
FaceOff may take any action we believe is appropriate, including:
FaceOff does NOT have to use the same punishment every time.
FaceOff may consider severity, context, intent, user history, safety risk, legal risk, and available evidence.
FaceOff may make mistakes. You may appeal a moderation decision at api.faceofflive.com/appeal or by contacting us, but we do NOT guarantee that we will reverse any action.
FaceOff provides tools to mute, block, report, filter, restrict, or avoid users.
You may NOT abuse reporting tools.
False, spammy, retaliatory, or bad-faith reports may lead to restrictions or bans.
FaceOff may decide whether and how to respond to reports.
FaceOff may offer quests, challenges, leaderboards, badges, streaks, levels, rewards, and other progression features.
FaceOff may change, remove, reset, limit, rebalance, expire, or discontinue any quest, reward, badge, level, streak, leaderboard, or progression feature at any time.
You may NOT cheat, bot, exploit, manipulate, fake activity, abuse bugs, or use unauthorized automation to earn rewards.
FaceOff may remove rewards, badges, levels, currency, or other benefits if we believe they were earned unfairly, by mistake, through abuse, or through a rule violation.
FaceOff may offer virtual items, including FaceCoin, badges, cosmetics, profile frames, themes, boosts, levels, Premium, PremiumPass, memberships, voice upgrades, higher-quality voice, extra calls, and other digital benefits.
Virtual items are licensed, NOT sold.
Virtual items are NOT real money. They have no cash value. They are NOT property. They are NOT a bank account. They are NOT stored value. They are NOT legal tender.
Unless FaceOff clearly says otherwise in writing, virtual items CANNOT be:
FaceOff may change, remove, rebalance, limit, expire, or discontinue virtual items at any time.
If your account is banned, suspended, deleted, or restricted, you may lose access to virtual items, badges, Premium, rewards, FaceCoin, and account benefits.
FaceOff may offer free trials, launch promotions, beta access, unlimited free calls, founder rewards, discounted memberships, or other temporary benefits.
These promotions may end at any time.
FaceOff may change free limits at any time.
For example, FaceOff may offer unlimited voice calls during a launch period and later change free accounts to a daily call limit.
FaceOff may offer paid memberships that include more calls, unlimited calls, higher-quality voice, profile customization, cosmetics, or other benefits.
FaceOff may change prices, limits, membership benefits, free features, and paid features at any time, subject to applicable law and app store rules.
Some FaceOff features may cost money.
Paid features may include Premium, memberships, subscriptions, extra calls, higher-quality voice, virtual currency, cosmetics, profile features, or other digital benefits.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider are also subject to that provider's rules.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled under the rules of the app store or payment provider.
Unless required by law or app store rules, purchases are final and non-refundable.
FaceOff may change prices, paid features, free features, and membership benefits.
FaceOff may show ads, promoted posts, sponsored content, affiliate links, or other commercial content.
Users must clearly disclose paid promotions, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, free gifts, or other material connections when posting promotional content.
FaceOff may remove promotional content that is misleading, spammy, unsafe, illegal, or against our rules.
FaceOff uses and connects with third-party services, including game APIs, voice and streaming infrastructure providers, analytics tools, payment providers, cloud hosting, moderation tools, app stores, and login services (such as Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In).
FaceOff is NOT responsible for third-party services.
Third-party services may change, fail, restrict access, charge fees, or stop working.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You may NOT use FaceOff to cheat, hack, exploit, bot, automate, manipulate, or interfere with any third-party game or service.
You may NOT use FaceOff to promote or sell cheats, hacks, exploits, bots, stolen accounts, boosting services, phishing tools, or unauthorized game modifications.
FaceOff may ban users who use the app for cheating, fraud, account theft, or game abuse.
FaceOff owns the FaceOff app, website, software, design, logo, name, branding, systems, code, features, artwork, badges, virtual items, and related materials, except for content owned by users or third parties.
FaceOff gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FaceOff.
